Cadd-E picks a club for every shot from the distance, wind, temperature, elevation, your bag and your handicap. Tap Cadd-E on the map for an AI read of the hole: the club, where to aim and one tip. Mention @Cadd-E in chirps to ask anything mid-round, get coaching in Swing Lab, and ask from your watch.

The map measures from where you’re standing, so it opens when you’re within half a mile of the course. It also needs the hole’s green and tee locations. If they’re missing, tap “Ask us to map this course” in the app.

Prop the phone at hip height three or four steps away with your whole body in frame. Face-on (camera facing your chest) measures turn and sway; down the line (behind your hands, toward the target) measures plane and path, and can trace the ball.

Soon. The simulator is still in development: we’re taking the time to get the launch monitor, the courses and the 3D graphics right before it goes out. It will arrive in an update to the ChirpNChip app, and we’ll announce it here and in the app.

See the distance to the green, get an instant club pick, keep score with the crown or bezel, ask Cadd-E for a club and a tip, measure your shots, and check where everyone stands. Turn on Track my shots and it logs each swing where you hit it, so Cadd-E learns how far you really hit every club. The swing sensor also times your tempo and club speed for Swing Lab, and for the simulator when it arrives.

The group chat for a round: messages, photos and videos, plus automatic shout-outs when someone makes a birdie, eagle or ace.

Settings → Notifications has a switch for each kind: buddy requests, round invites, buddies teeing off, big shots, chirps, likes and comments, and leagues.
